Full Title: Gimli, Son of Gloin, is a Cheeky Monkey

Ok, an explanation might be needed here. This was a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. Let's just say she's mentioned "Orlando Bloom in Tights" several times as something she enjoys about the LOTR movies.

Legolas is saying, "Tirach dele nín?" which, literally translated from Sindarin, means "Do you look at my rear?" That was the closest translation I could find to "Are you looking at my bum?" Obviously, a reference to Mike Meyers' Simon character on SNL.

Thanks to Taramiluiel over at the Lord of the Rings Fanatics Plaza [link] for translating for me.

About the painting...Legolas really did look more like Orlando Bloom and less like Cate Blanchett when I first sketched this out in my sketchbook. Seems like anytime I start to try to get careful and precise I end up screwing it all to hell. Ink is not my friend. But, this thing is still good for a laugh, I think.
